April is Child Abuse Prevention Month
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month (CAP Month). Our public CAP Month recognition events have been canceled or postponed in order to comply with social distancing orders to prevent the spread of COVID-19, but we will post any virtual CAP Month event opportunities on our News page. And of course, the resources we have developed for previous CAP Month campaigns are still available online and will remain useful to you for years to come: you'll find them under Resources > CAP Month Archive.
The Child Abuse Prevention Council (CAPC) of Santa Barbara County is a multi-agency network that coordinates efforts to prevent child abuse and neglect. We work to protect children, nurture families, and build community.
