April 2020 may be more of an "indoors" affair than we're accustomed to this time of year. But we have good news.
This April, you can join a virtual discussion featuring leaders in the field of trauma-informed practice including Alice Forrester, PhD from the RESILIENCE film featured in our past CAP Month events; Jim Sporleder from the PAPER TIGERS film, and James Redford, director of both films.
During this time of social isolation, KPJR Films is reaching out to share its documentary films and trauma-informed tools with communities nationwide. The KPJR Showcase will launch with a virtual screening of PAPER TIGERS and RESILIENCE. Both films, along with additional content, will be available for viewing on your desktop, laptop, or mobile device at no charge from April 4-7.
On April 7 at 6:00 p.m. (8:00 p.m. Eastern), KPJR will produce a Twitter Townhall featuring a discussion with characters from both films. Click here to register for this virtual screening.
Viewing will also be available as follows:
On April 6 at 8:00 p.m. (10:00 p.m. Central), RESILIENCE will show on public television with Louisiana Public Broadcasting (LPB). Learn more here.
On April 9 at 8:00 p.m. (11:00 p.m. Eastern), Franciscan Health will host a RESILIENCE virtual screening plus Twitter Townhall. Learn more here.
