Wear Blue Days 2019

Wearing blue and passing the pinwheel to raise awareness of child abuse prevention.

Each year during Child Abuse Prevention Month, CAPC encourages people to “Wear Blue for Kids": that is, to show their support for child abuse prevention by wearing blue for a group photo that can be shared on social media with the #WearBlue4Kids hashtag, often with a personal reflection about the importance of child abuse prevention. (Here’s our own social media post from that day.) This year, the Wear Blue Days were April 4-5. Many of our community partners held Wear Blue events, such as the Department of Social Services (that’s their Lompoc crew above).
